The S.I.T.I.P. is based on a complex software platform that consists of the following functional cooperating modules:

• Cargo Community System (CCS) Platform
  CCS is the integrated application module oriented to manage the procedures related to the transport of goods, which allows the automatic exchange of data, information and documents between public and private stakeholders in the transport and logistic operations within the context of each port;
• Tracking&Tracing Platform of the flow of goods;
  set of electronic data collection services related to "multimodal" traffic arriving in ,or departing from, each port;
• Dangerous Goods Planning Transport Platform
  set of services in order to enable safe and effective transit of dangerous goods within the region;
• Web PortalPlatform
  set of interfaces for the submission of contents and the use of the services offered by S.I.T.I.P.
