The cargo port of Gallipoli is located in the north side of the Old Town and it is protected by the outer wharf on the north pier and a breakwater to the east.

In the south-east of the basin there is a small services dock.

The port has an area of 80,000 square meters, extends along a part of the Old Town and can also accommodate considerably larger boats.

The "Bleu Marine Salento", which is composed of 200 meters docks is located next to the cargo port services dock.

In the tourist port structure are supplied all services related to the nautical tourism.
